What I Have Done

2010 – 2011 Affclicks – Profit Analytics for Affiliates
Co founded and took upon the entire technical development side of Affclicks.This involves processing large amounts of data on demand, integrating many different API’s as well as scraping various data sources and implementing an interactive front end API giving an application feel with all operations occurring over AJAX and long polling for live updates.
Also undertaken system admin duties which has involved configuring servers to meet our specific performance demands both on VPS’s and AWS.

2006 – 2010 Bachelor of Software Engineering – Latrobe University, Melbourne
Including -
3rd Year Industry Project – Lead a team through all aspects of software development from requirements and project plan to development, testing and deployment.
Developed a retail marketing portal website in PHP/MySQL/XHTML/JQuery
4th Year Honours Research – Real-time clustering of news related short messages gathered from Twitter

2008 – 2010 Freelance Programming
Mostly LAMP stack development with some Unix based admin work for installations and configurations

Summer 2009/2010 – Mintec Systems
Summer internship at a .NET based software development company
Main projects included Silverlight based internal time tracking software and a Java based label creator
